News outlets are everywhere and now at our fingertips.

The fast pace world today leads to fast acting news developing around us every waking minute some prefer newspapers, but I prefer a more upbeat news outlet. My go to sources for the top stories are typically accessible at the palm of my hands.

Where is the BUZZ? My top news outlet, BuzzFeed, a handy app on my phone that sends notifications right to my lock screen to keep me up to date and in the loop. At the touch of a button I’m informed of the latest celebrity breakups, political debates, local news, and much more. The breaking news for national celebrities are the most popular updates many of my generation look forward to reading about. All of the stories come from different writers, but are located in one central area within the app or website. I am typically drawn to the bold colors or juicy headlines as I browse through the page. Many times I can even find a video instead of reading an entire article. Trending stories are easily labeled and others are categorized by interest. The convince of BuzzFeed is perfect for my fast pace lifestyle. Visit BuzzFeed and see what all the buzz is really about! https://www.buzzfeed.com

Twitter fingers lead to news updates too! My constant Twitter check ins always end up stumbling upon new updates within the world. Many major news outlets use Twitter to reach the younger generation as it is a quicker way to spread the word. A buzzing news story can receive millions of likes and retweets in less that ten minutes. I and other Twitter users like myself consider the app to be one the main sources for global or local updates.https://twitter.com/?lang=en

Keep it old school...FACEBOOK! Even though there are a lot of opinions throughout the app, many times in between the rants people share links to the original news story. I tend to follow the gossip which leads me to the more factual information over time. Often time Facebook news stories have a video attached make it more convenient than having to read over an entire article. Facebook is not as trendy, so most the time the news will not be most recent headline. The information is based off of your Facebook friends beliefs and morals, so many times I encounter things they find interesting as I miss out on the things I care about and want updates on.

No one can forget about a good old fashion printed newspaper article. I personally have never consider reading the newspaper as my daily source of news intake, but it could be very beneficial. In the past I have only used my weekly paper around the holidays to find the Black Friday or Christmas deals, but never to know the latest local news. In most cases it is a solid outlet for stories locally and nationally. Stories are printed with the source, author, date so that readers are aware of where the information being printed originated. My fast pace lifestyle does not allow the time for Sunday mornings flipping through the printed newspaper.

Last but not the least the trendiest social media app that is my personal favorite Snapchat. Snapchat does not have the have hard hitting news stories, but I do look there for first for the celebrity updates and life hacks. It is one of my used apps for communicating with friends. I have friends, celebrity life, and food videos within one app. I enjoy the convenience of all my favorite things within in one click. Even though Snapchat is not the most factual is fast and constantly has all my interest at the top of my feed.
